Nine Dome Mosque

There are nine dome mosque in the Sadar upazila of Bagerhat district.The location of the mosque next to Thakur Dighi. It is a mosque built in a square, on which the length of each side is about 54 feet. The wall of the building is about 7 feet 6 inches thick. The number of domes of the mosque are 9, hence the mosque has been named Nine Dome Mosque. The mosque has 4 round towers with 4 corners. There are 3 gateways on the north, south and east walls. The west wall has 3 mihrabs. Mihrabs are decorated with terracotta leaves, flowers, geometric designs. There are 4 stone pillars inside the mosque.
